On June 10, 2025, PLTgolf had the honor of sponsoring the First Tee – South Puget Sound event, “Tee Up & Wine Down,” held at the iconic Chambers Bay Golf Course.
This one-of-a-kind, ladies-only event combined golf instruction, social connection, and support for youth development. Participants rotated through four interactive stations on the range, led by certified First Tee coaches, enjoying wine from Browne Family Vineyards and light bites courtesy of Chambers Bay. At our PLTgolf pop-up, attendees browsed Tacoma’s latest golf apparel—knowing their purchases would directly help fund a great cause.
As the evening concluded, guests learned more about First Tee’s impact through a raise-the-paddle plea and raffle giveaways featuring local prizes. The atmosphere was inspiring: golf, community, and philanthropy intertwined beautifully.
First Tee – South Puget Sound is part of a national movement using golf to build character, resilience, and life skills in young people—especially those who may not otherwise have access to the sport. Through structured programs, youth learn First Tee’s Nine Core Values™, gaining confidence and personal growth alongside athletic development.
Events like “Tee Up & Wine Down” serve dual purposes: they introduce golf to new audiences and raise essential funds to expand programming.
At PLTgolf, we’re passionate about more than gear—we believe in building communities and supporting initiatives that make a difference. By sponsoring the event and contributing 20% of our pop-up sales, we were thrilled to help sustain First Tee’s transformative programming.
Our guests left with stylish golf apparel—and a sense of purpose—knowing their purchases supported youth development. It was a beautiful display of how sport, style, and social good can come together.
