With limited spots available, the first ever PLTgolf Olympics will be invitation only, reserved for founders that have supported us in our launch. With this planned to be a yearly event, this will change in future years with invites being open to all members and founders.
Purpose and Goals
Giving is a key part of PLTgolf, it’s what sets us apart from other luxury golf apparel brands. We created the PLTgolf Olympics with giving at the forefront of our minds, and we purposely designed it to align with our overarching goal of golf for charity.
When developing the golf olympics, one of our key priorities was to unite our members and establish a buzzing community. How will we achieve this? By hosting a great day out filled with golf events that set the competitive spirit alight, a lunch and dinner to bring new friends together, and the opportunity to donate a huge sum of money to a charity§ of their choice.
And this donation is no joke. With the potential for $100,000 to go to a charity of your choice, you could have the power to make a real difference to one of these organizations.
PLTgolf will host a day to remember on October 4th at Tacoma Country & Golf Club. Get ready for a day of excitement, camaraderie and competition at the first annual PLTgolf Olympics.
For the first ever PLTgolf Olympics, 12 teams of 10 athletes will compete in competitive events, including the following:
Chip Shot: Each player gets 10 balls. Each ball that stops inside the hoop is worth one point.
Ping Pong: A one player per team ping pong tournament. First to 11 takes it all.
Closest to the Pin: Each player must throw from 75 yards.
Free Throws: 10 shots.
Paddle Board: A timed paddle around the buoy.
Dock Jump: Judges will score the best jump, get creative!
Corn Hole: Each player throws 10. 1 point for hitting the board, 5 points for getting it in the hole.
This amazing assortment of events are intended to make the PLTgolf Olympics a fun-filled event- there should be no stress involved! If you’re ready to indulge in some competitive spirit and meet some great people, this golf event is not one to be missed.
Aside from the action-packed activities, all attendees can enjoy lunch that will keep them fueled throughout the day, and a lakeside dinner at the end of the day to enjoy the company of your teammates and other attendees for one last time. Be ready for an awards ceremony over dinner that will keep you entertained throughout the evening, all in the build up to the winning team and their opportunity to make a $100,000 donation to one of our amazing golf charity partners.

First Tee is a golf charity on a mission to empower kids and teens through the game of golf. With chapters across the country and even worldwide, First Tee provides golf-based personal growth programs. These programs see kids build life and leadership skills that empower them in all areas of life, including school, friendships and eventually careers.
Supporting America’s Special Forces soldiers and their families, the Green Beret Foundation provides Special Forces soldiers and their families with emergency, immediate and ongoing support. Over the past 15 years, they have provided direct assistance to nearly 15,000 Green Berets and their families as they navigate the challenges of their new lives, and have invested 86 cents of every dollar raised back to the Green Beret community.
The First Responder’s Children Foundation supports the children and families of first responders who risk their lives every day in service to our communities. They provide financial support to children who have lost a parent in the line of duty as well as families enduring significant financial hardship due to tragic circumstances. They also facilitate educational activities and programs created and operated by first responder organizations whose purpose is to benefit children or the community at large.
The Humane Society for Tacoma & Pierce County make happy happen for pets and people. Founded by a handful of compassionate community members, it has grown into one of the state’s largest animal welfare agencies. Every year, they find homes for over 6,000 pets, reunite over 1,100 animals with their owners, and provide care for thousands more.
