OUR STORY

The Professional Leisure Tour

It all started with a desire to give back – and to have fun while playing golf. PLT stands for “The Professional Leisure Tour”, so we take socializing, networking, and having fun as seriously as we take giving back to causes that need support. After all, golf is a game! 

Unlike many other brands, PLTgolf was founded by a core leadership team and 100 founding members, whose strong combined networks and shared generosity helped raise $140,000 for the charities we supported last year. 

PLTgolf is now opening its doors to new members who wish to contribute to the mission… and enjoy the game

In 2023 alone, together, we donated over $140,000 through the foundation to four chosen charities: First Tee, Green Berets, First Responders Children’s Foundation and the Humane Society. And this year? PLTgolf is pledging at least another $500,000 to more charities.

Our charitable partnerships

First Responders Children’s Foundation

Provides financial support to children who have lost a parent in the line of duty and families facing severe financial hardship due to tragedy. They also fund and promote educational programs run by first responder organizations to benefit children and the broader community.

First Tee

A youth development organization that empowers children to build strength of character for life's challenges. By integrating golf with a life skills curriculum, they create active learning experiences that foster inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience. Their junior golf programs are shaping the next generation of Game Changers.

The Humane Society

A leading advocate for animal protection, actively working to protect wildlife, reduce animal use in research and product testing, end fur sales, and alleviate animal suffering on farms. Their efforts are driving animal welfare reform and shaping public opinion, influencing corporate practices, and fostering legislative and governmental action.

Green Beret Foundation

A non-profit dedicated to supporting U.S. Army Special Forces soldiers and their families. The foundation provides services like bereavement support, family assistance, and transition services to both active-duty and retired Green Berets. To date, they've directly aided nearly 15,000 Green Berets and their families, with 86 cents of every dollar raised going back into the Green Beret community.
